"Overall happy with the stay. Initial absence of basic cleaning products (doesn't make sense for each guest to buy new every time, if only staying for a few days) but spoke to reception and they provided products for us to use (thanks). Rooms are not big, but we spent most of the time out on the slopes and in town so didn't matter. Warm and clean in the apartment. Small town so everywhere is walkable. Staff at reception, bar and entertainment team were all very friendly and helpful. "

"We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Hotel Clotes. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were always helpful at providing recommendations and dinner reservations. My husband is coeliac, and they had gluten free beer available in their bar, as well as a gluten free breakfast each morning. The bedrooms are comfortable and very clean.The reception area doubles as a bar, and a very sociable area for chatting with other guests about the days skiing. We will definitely be returning!"

"We loved chalet del sole - location was amazing right on the piste. It was very quiet when we there so the menu was limited but all the food we had was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but clean and cosy, beds a little bit hard after a full days skiing! Overall we had a great time! "

"We stayed in palace2 for a week. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Used half-board option, the food was great, the restaraunt was accomodating for vegetarian food. The hotel is 15-20 min walk from the slopes, but there is a bus. wifi in the reception area, free. Overall very good."

"TERRIBLE HOTEL. We were overcharged to stay at a glorified youth hostel. This 100 occupancy hotel was taken over by a 70-80 group of badly behaved school children. The owner did not have any consideration for the other guests. I am writing this review to inform anyone who is considering staying at this hotel, as there was not any information (warnings) on any website when we booked our holiday."

"Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. "Fantastic stay here! Only three tweeks. So communication was very last minute, we were arriving late at night and worried we had no password or details for the key lock to get it and the owners were not responding. It did say 7 days before we would be contacted so I panicked and thought it was a dodgy booking the entire week, finally the day before we got details and all was fine!
