"This was our first time renting a house on vacation and it met every expectation I had and then some! My kids enjoyed having their own space and I enjoyed having the space of a house. The yard was good to run around and play catch, the kitchen and dining room was nice so that we didn't have to eat out for our entire trip, the living room was comfortable and we enjoyed family movie night. "Needs an update on the linens and blankets. Not much of a view either. Washer and dryer and fridge work fine. Bathroom needs hooks and towel bars and maybe a new tub surround. The wiring is also a little sketchy as it is extension cords running on the outside of the walls. Should be a bit more upscale and remodeled for the price. "

"Captain's Cottage is super cute! The pictures really dont do it justice. We were a block from the beach. Snug Harbour and Noto's are a must for waterfront dining. Downtown had lots to offer as well and was walking distance to CC. We had to make a trip to Meijer...also very close...and was astonished at the cleanliness and upscale feel of this store. We had a great, although too short stay, at Captain's Cottage."

"The property manager was responsive when two issues were reported. There wasn’t enough towels or bedding for the number of guests we paid for. To his credit he came over at 11 at night to rectify the issue. The second issue was the chirping smoke alarm. I think anyone renting a house should just change the smoke alarms on a regular basis. It kept us awake for two hours but the next morning when he received the report he did bring over a new battery. Location was great and he Responded quickly."
