"The air quality at the main floor is bad and should be looked after . This bad smell of “old buildings” hits you as soon as you walk in Other than that everything was amazing . Room was clean, food at restaurant and drinks at bar were great . Staff were very friendly and helpful "

"Beautiful hotel, with an impressive size junior suite. The room felt classic english style and the facilities were excellent. The bathroom was particularly stunning with a wondeful bath. All employees were helpful and the location is close to the train station and all the main sites of york. "

"Been greated by the door men/concierge, checking in and been shown to your room was lovely and welcoming. All the staff are friendly and happy to have a conversation. Breakfast is very comprehensive and first class. The rooms are large ,well appointed and the bed very comfortable. Any issues are dealt with immediately to your satisfaction. The spa is just great and everything works properly. We would certainly go again and recommend it to anyone. "
