"The room, like the hotel, was run down. The whole place needs to be modernized. The air conditioning in my room wasn't working (it was 38C outside). I told the staff, they said that there was nothing that they could do. I spent a very uncomfortable night there. By the way, a better and far less expensive breakfast can be had a the MickyD next door"

"This place is amazing. It was built as a winery in 1600’s and now it has been converted into a hotel. The architecture and interior finish is beautiful. The grounds and pool are meticulously maintained. It was a treat to have a full hot breakfast rather than the usual continental. It was very quiet however we were there in October."

"Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous town. Our stay was very relaxing. The rooms were so nice. Beautifully decorated, best port view, robes… Everything is walkable which adds to the convenience. The hotel and the town are quite charming. There was a wedding reception at the hotel our second evening, no notice. So they closed the restaurant. Loud music starting right at 11pm til past 2am. A voucher for a nearby restaurant would have been a nice gesture in lieu of the inconvenience and the loud music ."

"Be aware the there is no lift if you need one. Apartment is in a grand Palazzo with a shared common area and a balcony, great facilities and easy check in by a neighbour. Apartment is in a ZTL zone so if you have a car be aware when it is active. We were able to part for free on a side street about 5 minutes away."

"Quality of stay was very good. Only issue was the dinner menu of fixed courses - we sometimes went out for a large lunch and preferred an option of a simpler meal. Breakfast service was lovely. Staff were professional and pleasant. The grounds are well kept and the pool and the view is exceptional. "

"The cleanliness was on point and the cleaning lady was really nice. Reception was alright, but I had to wait 2 days for someone to come and fix the shower cable, after I had told them 3 times. Even after the shower cable was ‘fixed’ though, there was still water coming out of the shower plate, which developed a small flooding each time I would shower. That, I had told them too. They did offer another room, but I was staying just for 3 nights, so I declined. Okay, in the overall."

"Lovely spacious room in the old city close to the Fort. We had room 104 of the collection of Blanco B&B’s which is over a Bar. This does mean it can be very noisy early in the morning when they’re setting up the cafe and also the early morning garbage and bottle collections are very loud. The people who run the cafe s are lovely and we enjoyed a delicious and basic Italian breakfast there each morning as part of our booking. "

"Meet & greet host : Informative of area churches etc. Description of room on site misleading. This room is Not Luxury. Would describe as basic Travel Room. Bed: Poor quality of structure. We notified host that the Bed "Creeked "Badly " with every Slight movement. Response " no one else has complained " which does not solve the problem. "Let me start by saying this hotel is a beautiful hidden gem. The staff were extremely attentive, kind, and very thoughtful. We were leaving before 7 AM in the morning and that evening they brought breakfast for us knowing that we would miss breakfast. The room was extremely clean. They have beautiful terrace with a pool lemon trees growing around the rooms. It was a very authentic Italian experience. "La Maison is small and beautiful. The rooms are great but don’t bring too heavy a suitcase as rooms start on first floor and no lift. We loved our two night stay here and felt very comfortable. There is a large cheap car park on the sea front about 100m away which is easier than trying to find nearby street parking. Very close to Trani old town and harbour with the bars and restaurants "
