"Lovely hotel with a private, quiet beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant extremely good. The local area has many lovely towns and Butera is definitely worth a trip for the views. We visited the Valley of the Temples which is under an hour away and there are plenty of other beaches to head to should you want to."

"The food was good. The all inclusive sink option was limited. WiFi was always down. There was a radar sounding buzz in our room that appeared to be tied to the AC. So if we wanted to stay cool, we’d have to listen to this annoying noise all night. Maintenance would fix it because they have to bring the entire building down to do it."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Baglio lauria. The room was absolutely beautiful, the shower had amazing pressure and space and the grounds are absolutely stunning. You are surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, almonds and cacti that are just breathtaking. A true retreat. You must take a tour of Tenute Camilerri (vineyard) while you are there. Would definitely come back. Special thanks to Dario for taking care of us and making sure everything was perfect. "

"Service really poor and unpolite staff. Restaurant managed very badly with non competent manager and food under any standard. Breakfast basic with coffee served in plastic cup. Wifi only in common area and old TVs in room my was not working. Noisy staff too. Only good aspect perfect location x holiday"

"Heel rustig gelegen, de eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het enige minpunt is dat er geen ontbijtbuffet was zoals op de foto's te zien. Iedere morgen kregen we 1 croissant opgevuld met marmelade en een klein chocoladekoekje. Er was koffie, water en een brikje fruitsap. Met een meer gevarieerd ontbijt gaf ik zeker 10 op 10."

"Wow an amazing stay with excellent views. We were treated with a bottle of wine & pasties for my birthday then thry brought us croissants & cantaloupe on our last day for breakfast. 100% recommend can not fault the property. They even have an adapter fron uk to italian for you to use. Lovely restaurant near the sea and close by... "

"Staying at Daphne house is a must. First, other reviews are 100 correct, as this property is superbly clean, decorated, and taken care of. There is even a lift for accessability. The homecooked breakfast and cakes were all made from locally sourced ingredients. Honestly, the cakes should be sold in a shop. They are amazing. "Stopped here on the way to Agrigento and was surprised to find how good the facilities and rooms were. Rooms were comfortable and seemed new. There was ample parking, a full deli and breakfast bar. The restaurant food was a high quality and the setting by the lovely clean pool was excellent. A surprising find with helpful and friendly staff. Excellent value!"

The place to be in Agrigento

"Lovely upscale small hotel where staff was friendly and did everything to make you feel comfortable. If you’re staying in Agrigento, you’re coming to see the Valley of the Temples. This is the only hotel in the Valley itself, a 5-10 minute walk to the temples, and to the excellent archaeological museum. Our junior suite was spacious, clean, comfortable and came with its own several hundred year old olive tree. Also, the price was reasonable but that may be in the off season "
