The local area has many lovely towns and Butera is definitely worth a trip for the views. "We absolutely loved our stay at Baglio lauria. The room was absolutely beautiful, the shower had amazing pressure and space and the grounds are absolutely stunning. You are surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, almonds and cacti that are just breathtaking. A true retreat. You must take a tour of Tenute Camilerri (vineyard) while you are there. Would definitely come back. Special thanks to Dario for taking care of us and making sure everything was perfect. "

I did feel like their website and marketing photos were a little misleading, once I arrived because it is a very small operation with only a couple of rooms.
