"This is a dog friendly motel. When I first got in my room, my dog brought me a filthy sock. That was gross. The heat light in the bathroom would not shut off so I had to close the door to the bathroom as the light is very bright. The faucet in the bathroom leaked onto the counter. On the positive side, the breakfast was really good and the staff was very helpful. All the staff I encountered at the desk and at the breakfast were happy, helpful and polite"

"This is a really cool old hotel. We like staying at places with a little history when we can and this one has plenty. I think it's been updated just enough to modernize some comforts but leave the 1960s feel. My husband had a hard time with the outdoor hallways from the elevator to the rooms because he's afraid of heights and we were on the 7th floor but unless you have a genuine phobia, it's actually a lovely view.
