"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Nice quiet and clean sheltered cottage with dedicated little drive. We spent two days it was really nice it would be even nicer with good weather so you can have your tea outside in the garden. Don't follow the google pin it takes you nowhere but the owner will happily give yuo right directions we were guided by a friendly local farmer."

"Really friendly staff and service, The room was clean and good standard. We had dinner at the restaurant which was extremely nice both myself and my partner enjoyed the food. Now the not so good bits.. The halls are a bit dated and could do with being updated The walls are definitely paper thin and definitely need to be soundproof as other reviews have suggested. Breakfast was disappointing not the same standard as the evening meal was and it was in the same restaurant "
