"Parking area should have supervision. Our car was hit and person ran away without leaving a note. Maybe with the presence of a security guard this might have been prevented or at least the persons who did it would have thought twice about leaving. Other than that suggestion of putting a security guard there everything was great. Front staff always nice and helpful. Breakfast is always good. Amenities are excellent. Thank you. "This property is undergoing a renovation. The first room we were assigned was awful. It had an unpleasant odor and the sofa had both arms knawed. We did change rooms with a much better result. I hope when the reno is complete, there will be new furniture as well. Full breakfast was a great way to start the day. We're in Carlsbad a couple times a year and will try Homewood Suites again. "

"I like the environment a lot. I like Carl, the Asian American young man who provided excellent courtesy and service. I don't like how expensive the amenities are, no matter how beautiful the location, $45 a day is beyond expensive."

"Although this hotel costs $900.00 plus per night, noise is a bit of a problem. The family staying in the rooms next to mine had a dog that made a “ crying” very sad & loud noise, when left alone in daytime,last time I visited. The pepperoni pizza is not available at the small shop in the lobby anymore.. one family next to my room woke up each morning so that they could walk the entire hall on our floor screaming and yelling to each other, while they continued to walk, back and forth, from 1 end...
