"Where can I begin? Our stay was nothing short of magical. It was an amazing experience from the moment we stepped off of the plane, to our sad farewells on our last day. We didn't have a hard time locating Vaughn holding the Ladera sign at the airport (he was right there at the exit). As soon as we got in the cab we were offered chilled beverages and got to relax and enjoy the 45 minute scenic ride. The check-in process was seamless! Sherin was there waiting for us, with the famous and delicious Ladera punch. She was an absolute sweetheart and laughed and celebrated with us upon our first look at our room. I must say that the hospitality at this resort is out of this world. We felt very familiar with everyone. The room was absolutely perfect. Beyond my expectations and even more spectacular than the pictures! Before arriving I was worried about hearing our neighbors or having them hear us but I never heard anyone else. It felt like we had the resort all to ourselves. It was fully booked for Valentine's day so I was pleasantly surprised that it still felt so intimate and secluded. The room felt cozy despite their not being a 4th wall. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner privately at our table next to the pool with the gorgeous view! The room had everything we needed, but we still ventured out and explored the property. We fully enjoyed the nature trail and all of the other amenities there. I want to go back tomorrow. "The accommodations, staff, excursions, property, and amenities are all wonderful. The resort is remote and secluded. Very nice if you like to lounge and relax. Otherwise, roads and entrance are hair pin turns, narrow and left side driving. It takes 30 minutes to go 9 miles. Beautiful beach. Tends to be busy with catamaran's and snorkeling groups. Appreciated all-inclusive option. We ventured away from resort on adventures and excursions. Beautiful island for first time visit"

"Good location next to the small shopping and dining area. Easy 10 minute stroll to the beach, which you should do at least once. Pool is nice but I hate that people save their chairs early in the morning and then don’t use them for hours. That should change. I can see why the hotel would rather ignore it, because some guests are out there all day every day, and any inconvenience to their ritual would offend them. But we normal people would like a crack at the pool chairs once in a while."
