That being said, I was not contacted in advance to send my passport information before arrival. There is no "front desk" service, but it does state that you have to send your information beforehand. "Quiet, comfortable apartment conveniently located. Access to all the sites in Basel are easily accessable, either on foot or using the trams stops just steps away. The apartment was spacious and included all the necessary amenities. We particularly appreciated the in-suite laundry after being on the road for some time. Check-in was easy and the staff were very nice and extremely helpful. As eating out in Basel can quickly add up in cost, the kitchen and nearby grocery store were convenient....

"The shower and toilet (bathroom) were separate from the room. Both the room and bathroom had loud locks so you would disturb the other guests when going to the bathroom. The shower had no soap dish/shelf. The soap dispenser was broken, so no soap came out. The room was extremely hot and smelt of smoke. The sinks in the kitchen and bathroom were both tiny. The location is good but the accommodation is not comfortable. I would suggest paying more if you can or staying near the airport and...
