"This is a lovely place once you find it - it’s a bit off the beaten track. Nice gardens and setting but nobody there. The housekeeper met us as we arrived at midday but she didn’t know which room we were supposed to be in so sent us away and said check in was at 2. Our room was big enough with nice bathroom and separate terrace which opened onto the garden and pool area. Another couple arrived about 8.30 the following night and nobody was there to meet them. "This is a lovely hotel and my room was so cute, however I have a sensitivity to scents and this hotel has quite a variety of scented accessories. From the moment you step into the lobby the smell of whatever they are using is quite strong, incense perhaps. My room was in the basement level and besides it having a bit of a damp smell I was literally overcome with the power of the scented candles in my room, it was so bad I had to ask the desk clerk if she could remove which she graciously did,...

"We had 5 nights at this property - it was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and the apartment itself had everything one might expect. The reason why we cannot give it 5* is the Spa. We paid extra for the Spa and although we enjoyed a big discount (which was offered on arrival), we did not expect to have to pay extra for the sauna, which was in the Spa block. This is most definately the first time that has ever happened to us. At 20 Euros for a hour to use the sauna (which necessitated phoning reception to ask someone to come and turn it on), which included heating-up time, it just wasn't worth it (although we were also offered a discount). If we were to exclude the Spa issues, it would be a 5 star rating. We would recommend use of a car as it is tricky to get to, and there isn't much in the way of infrastructure nearby (it is possible to walk down to the shop by the petrol station but it is a slog walking back up the hill)."
