"The City View Hotel was a safe and convenient place to stay while I was in Cairo. It is centrally located. The food, I thought was mediocre. There were a lot of packaged items for breakfast and the restaurant served meals that were adequate but the quality wasn’t that great. I think if the hotel wanted to improve it should revamp the entire kitchen in terms of what is available for breakfast and the quality of their food, in comparison to better restaurants and types of cooking. "This hotel has been very, very accommodating to our special requests. When we arrived in Cairo very early, they allowed us to check in unusually earlier. And today, because of our late flight out of Cairo, they let us leave way later than any hotel we had been into, Thanks Le Meridien! On top of that, the staff is really courteous and the food fantastic. If you have a long layover in Cairo, I highly recommend staying here!!!"
