"This was our first time in Italy and we started in Venice. Santa Croce not only had the most beautiful accommodations, their staff was incredible. We arrived late on our train and the gentleman arranged a dinner at a local restaurant and then walked us to our location, so we wouldn’t get lost. The concierge was very helpful. The only problem we had was one shower was clogged and flooded the bathroom. The rooms are small try to get a bigger category. "

" A beautiful old style palace boutique hotel. It has some amazing fresco and the state room is worth the entry fee alone. The hotel is centrally located and convenient to arrive by Water Taxi. It also located beside the Gondola station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little dated by modern standard but otherwise comfortable and clean. Would consider again in the future."

"Breakfast could be better and better stocked. Manager / owner were polite and tried offering transportation advice early on to and from the airport. Not much to do when raining though as this is not typical hotel. Would recommend staying if you are a physically fit adults who don’t mind stairs and little amenities. "
