"This hotel was in great condition. Only minor blemishes, but overall in great condition. The staff was incredibly kind and considerate. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable. The breakfast crew did an amazing job. We were there multiple days and every day the breakfast was excellent. We felt safe on this property. We appreciated being able to walk to activities beyond the hotel. The pool area was in great condition. Very quiet and well maintained."

"I f tiedind it hard to understand how a hotel would leave a working thermostat in a guest room that isn't connected to the rooms actual AC unit. Too tired and late to call for a different room I suffered a poor night's sleep. "

"My stay was amazing. It started with the amazing women that worked the desk. The check in with Paige was easy and gave me the perfect room. Mallory helped me with a noise problem i had and i mean she was FAST about it. The eggs for breakfast were absolutely tasty, the potatoes tasted fantastic, and the drinks were good as well. The pool area was great to relax and wasn't bothered by anyone smoking anywhere around the hotel. If you're looking for an amazing hotel to stay at and get business done...

"When booking any hotel through a travel site you are taking a bit of a risk, not knowing for certain what room you will get. We read about the noisy side and the quite side, the noise side facing the downtown area. The room we had at Luminary could not have been better. Spectacular view of the Caloosahatchee River. We had nothing to want for in the room. The location was fabulous. The neighborhood that it’s placed against is full of shops, brew pubs, pizza places all within 50 yards of the hotel. If you’re looking for a premium fish restaurant there is one right between the river and the hotel. Also on that side of the hotel are a few whimsical art pieces. Would have to look again but I think there is a theme with some of the art pieces along the river with the one in the village The Beacon rooftop bar is a great place to be for sunset. We had a couple drinks and small plates to share. It is not a full restaurant, offering only tasty hors d’oeuvre. Not sure how the rooms are assigned. Maybe it was due to the fact that our stay did not include weekends or the time of year. Could have been that they saw we were of an age that getting in early and getting a good night sleep is a premium. Would like to think they took all those factors in before assigning the room Best hotel experience we have had in a while. Staff was understanding, peasant, and helpful "

"This is the worst place we have stayed at. The room was old and well worn. The bathroom had rusty bars on the tub. There was some kind of air cleaner in the vanity area. Created a lot of heat. By morning the whole floor was so flooded with water. It took 3 towels to sop it up. The outside was littered and people were throwing things off of the upper floors. . Lastly the bug that i killed right arrival was more than I could take. So disappointed that this is under the Wyndham group[. It was rated 2 stars NO WAY!!!! Lastly there were no amenities, Kleenex coffee, cups. They had to issue us a remote for the TV and the ice machines were not working well. We had to get it from the front desk. Sorry guys this was a dump"
