"Staff at the front desk were really kind with us. From the welcome to the last day. The cleaning staff did a very good job every day. The hotel taxi service was excellent too. We feel very lucky of having had this stay in the Carina Gold hotel so conveniently located at the heart of the historical Istanbul. Better could not be."

"This is a beautiful and historical hotel. It’s rough around the edges - in need of a renovation and a more thorough clean but it’s gorgeous nonetheless. Our room felt like going back into the past. I would say, however, I was very disappointed by the spa area. It was dirty and run down. Overall though the beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast and overall vibe make up for it "

"Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and excellent food. Spa facilities were limited and no pool at all. Spa facilities are male and female only. Female side only has a sauna and steam room (which wasn't working on our visit). Quite far out from everything so needed to rely on taxis, which are expensive. "

"Great space. Great price. This windows need attention. 3 different rooms with bad alignment. Be prepared to hear the daily car alarm and call to prayer from the local Mosque. Super friendly and very helpful staff."

"I had a very pleasant stay which the staff Mazlum, Yusuf and Berkay helped me a lot. Any issues I had they were quick to fix them, booking taxis, technical issues, orders etc. the hotel is in a quiet location with 5 minute access to places like Vadi Istanbul shopping mall. The apartment rooms are very stylish and spacious with everything you need, I would definitely recommend staying here especially if it will be for a long time "
