Visit one of the arts and crafts centers and purchase a souvenir. Participate in a range of fun workshops. Learn bone carving, create artworks from glass or make your own ceramic kitchenware. Shop at the independent boutiques and eat lunch at one of the town’s cafés.
Find one of the numerous historic towns and villages outside of Bude. By car it’s 11 miles (17.7 kilometers) south to Crackington Haven. Head to this quaint coastal village and relax in the tea rooms or pub or head into the countryside to spot wildlife and wild flowers. Morwenstow is about 12 miles (19 kilometers) north of Bude. See heritage attractions and watch the sun set from the cliffs. Keep a look out and maybe even spot a seal or two.
