"Very few properties are perfect and this property had a few issues, but these pale in comparison to the convenience, location, professionalism, and cleanliness. The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. I would be inclined to make these apartments my go to place for any future visits to York."

"Overall a good stay. Needs a bit of TLC to the paintwork. Bathroom is quite small but adequate, & bedroom space was small ie bed against the wall. Stayed in deluxe studio apartment it was nice to sit on chairs instead of bed to watch tv. Nice kitchen area if you want to cook something simple. Bed was comfortable & extra pillows if wanted in wardrobe. Great communication & easy mobile entry via email "

"Lovely clean and beautifully furnished apartment, in a perfect location for all the sights and shops. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need.Excellent communication from the owner both before, during and after the visit. Really enjoyable stay. "

"The property is in a great location, but is not kept in a great shape. Beds were super uncomfortable, you cold feel the mattress springs pooking you. The bathroom really need basic updates, a clean, mold free shower curtains would be enough "

"Property was lovely, communication excellent. It would just take a couple of things for a 5 star ie two big towels as two people staying, additional toilet roll, kitchen to have more utensils. The listing really should mention the tv is almost impossible as the wifi signal is bad and maybe have some games or puzzles available as we were not aware the tv would just buffer constantly.. Also instructions on central heating, oven etc as they were new to us and took a bit of figuring. It was just...

"Lovely old-fashioned unique hotel. Lots of choice for food, and the spa is fab - £12 access per room is great, and the facilities were clean and updated. The gym/health club was a huge plus and made the stay even better. "Loved the hotel, welcomed by very personable and kind doormen who were so friendly and attentive throughout our whole stay. The room was lovely and very spacious! Pool was busy but still nice! The location was also great, which a short walk over the river into the centre of York and the hotel was a perfect get away from the busy streets after a day walking around. Only negatives would be the foyer and welcome - it was very busy and queues up to the door! There needed to be a more efficient system to show us the additional check in room next door! Also our room backed onto the delivery entry to the hotel so we were woken at 6:45am by lorries and loud noise! This being said we would definitely return and thanks for a lovely stay! "
