"Hotel was totally fine. Convenience of a cute coffee shop downstairs. Walkable to bars & restaurants, and Barclays which is why we stayed there. There’s a parking lot on the next street. All good."

"Next to the Jay st Metro STATION, so super easy access to Manhattan. Plus walking distance to Dumbo. Vending machines needed restocking. No overnight consessionary store. Overall, great location."

There was flooding one night above our floor (we were on 3rd), so our neighboring room had to be disturbed for emergency repairs to be made -- from about 2am into the next day -- to our floor and, presumably, to others, including the lobby ceiling. "Second time staying here in two years, it's good value for money relative the cost of hotels in Brooklyn as you get breakfast included, but the rooms are looking really tired now. Marked walls and tired carpet, it really needs a refresh. The breakfast is good, however a queue everyday to find a seat and you feel quite rushed as there is a 30 minute window to eat in so everyone gets a chance to eat. The elevator was out of order for 3 out of the 4 nights and when it does work its slow. Location...

"The room was super comfortable and well designed for the limited space available - also quiet, so we slept great. The only elevator broke down while we were there, and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs a few times to reach our 5th floor room. (We saw others who had to carry very heavy luggage down the stairs). The surrounding area feels quite safe but is a bit dark and dingy. The hotel no longer offers parking, and the nearby options are sketchy, so we don’t recommend it if you’re driving...
