"The motel is a bit dated and could definitely use some renovation, but everything was clean and tidy. The bed was super comfortable, although the pillows weren’t great. Our room had a balcony, which was nice, but it didn’t have any chairs or a table. It was great to have a coffee machine, microwave, and mini fridge in the room. The air conditioner worked well, which we appreciated during the warm days. Online, this hotel is rated around 8/10, but I would personally give it 5–6 out of 10 based on the room and facilities. The other 5 stars go entirely to the front desk staff. The young woman working there was incredibly friendly, helpful, and answered all of our questions with a smile. Because of her, I’d give the overall experience 10/10. She really made the stay feel warm and welcoming!"

"We stayed in a two bedroom cabin. Spacious, modern and well equipped. The resort is lovely and very quiet. Nice lake for some easy canoeing, and some forest paths. There is a restaurant for evening dinner, as well as a more informal area for food. Book the restaurant early, it tends to get full. The two bed cabins are a few hundred metres up the hill from the lake in the 200 and 300 blocks. They have a view but it's in the distance. 200 are closer than 300. We ended up at the back of the site, which was lovely and quiet. Even then it was only a pleasant 15 mins walk to the restaurant (or you could drive)."
