I've been using Expedia for my travel needs for years and always found the highest quality of establishments offering excellent service. I must say that I'm surprised that Expedia would have Global Luxury Suites Downtown Boston as one of it's choices. The level of disappointment felt by my family and myself was immense from the moment we walked into the 'hotel'. There was no hotel staff in the lobby, only a a security guard who mechanically went over the rules of our stay. We were informed that there was no room services, no maid service and we would be responsible for the cleaning of the room and removal of any trash upon our departure. When entering our room we quickly found numerous issues: The fold out couch bed sheets were dirty. Half the outlets were not working (couldn't plug in computer at the desk had to charge it in the kitchen), there was a jungle of wires hanging out of the TV's and the dryer, the handle on the refrigerator was wobbly, the two window shades would open and there was a sign that read 'Please do not use this shade to avoid further damage', the closet light switch didn't work, we washed the bed sheets but they took over two hours to dry. I have pictures of all this. Our first reaction was to look up other hotels in the area but of course last minute in Boston everything was full. For the money we spent to stay at this 'hotel' we were expecting much better. With no 'hotel' staff on site there was really no one to offer complaints to.

Asked for ADA compliant accommodations. Did not hear back from management for over 25 hours. I was a high risk fall and sustained an injury while on site. I had to go to Mass General Clinic for xrays and am seeing an orthopedist for MRIs for injury, wrist fracture. I emailed and left a voicemail for the management team. Would not stay here again. Not ADA compliant. Reaching out to personal injury lawyer.

A great amount of space for a “hotel”/short term rental. Highly recommend. Full kitchen, a little living room with a pull out bed. I do wish that the bed was in a position to see the tv but we just pulled out the bed from the couch to watch a movie on a rainy day. Just so everyone knows, parking is $35/night at the garage nearby

Excellent stay! Right in Chinatown. So much better than a standard hotel. We stayed in a 1bed and had a washer/dryer which was SO convenient. Walkable to many sites, food etc. Would stay here again for sure .

My family and I were visiting from Bermuda and we felt very safe on the premises as well as walking around. We didn’t have to catch a taxi to go where we wanted to go. The staff were cordial and always assisted when needed. One recommendation is to give clean towels on a daily basis. I’ve already recommended this to family and friends, I definetly would return.

Very nicely appointed and quiet apt in a modern building. It isnt a standard hotel, so adjust expectations accordingly. A 24 hr security person is present at all times at front desk but checking in can be a bit iffy - you need a fob to enter the front door to pick up the key and fob, and there didnt seem to be a buzzer to get the security person's attention. I was able to get his attention by waving through the double doors.

This is by far the worst stay in a apartment/ hotel/ condo that we have ever had. There was under street construction at the stoplight just at the intersection beside the property every night starting around 9 or 10pm lasting until about 4 am from August 27-30th in 2024. It sounded like jackhammers and kept us awake or severely limited our sleep for the entire duration of the stay. We were only given 2 bath towels for 3 people for a 3 night stay. I repeatedly asked the supposed concierge for towels and was told there were no extras. Only after I responded to an expedia email and gave a red frustrated face did someone appear at the door with 1 towel. The kuerig was broken. The mattress was terrible. Allowing someone to rent a property with this noise level should be illegal. I want a refund. This was a college move in and we flew from quite a distance away. If we hadn’t been so crunched for time I would have called Global Suites and demanded a refund. I didn’t want to ruin the atmosphere of this otherwise momentous occasion. Shame on you Global Suites for allowing this rental and shame on you Expedia for not examining your properties. We have traveled and stayed in hotels around the country and overseas. I have stayed in Hampton Inns that were better than this. This is no Marriott, not even close.

1st off,the frig didnt work & was reported to customer service whi did absolutely NOTHING to correct the problem!!! 2ndly the bed mattresses are terribly uncomfortable!!3rd the building is ran from i guess another state because there is no management on site,they just have security at the front door to hand you your keys & collect them when you leave .this property cost to much money to not have management on site to handle major issues like a broken frig.when you've bought groceries for a 5 day stay,i do not advise anybody to stay here because the owner of this place does not care about you,there only there to make a dollar,rent at your own risk.

Luxury suites these are not. Amenities were basic, if they worked at all e.g. fridge & toaster didn't work. And, communication was appalling around issues. Plus major roadworks were going on overnight each night of our stay (and likely to go on for next 5 months). No sound-proofing from the street. Rubbish.
