"The property has an interesting history and the renovations they did to make it a hotel while respecting the original style are incredible. This was our second time staying here and we did notice more noise this time. Housekeeping started early in the morning and they were loud. The other issue was that last time we were not charged for parking but this stay it was $15 a day. This wouldn’t have been a problem but Expedia did not disclose a parking fee and when we checked in the front desk...

"I have never stayed in a facility where there was no person at the front desk after around 7:00. There was a phone # to call and she showed up in 6 minutes and was ready to help. We enjoyed our stay. It has a small courtyard that is a great place to sit and rest after walking in the French quarter all day.
