Check in for the most part went fairly smooth and the clerk was very friendly however, we were unaware of an additional $100 we needed pay on top of our already paid for reservation. We were told it would be refunded back to our card in 3-4 business days but we have yet to see it. Our room was fairly clean other than what appeared to be blood stains on the floor which is quite…concerning, to say the least. On the day of checkout, we were rudely awakened at 6am to a couple of young men coming into our room. Thankfully we had the deadbolt and chain lock enabled however that didn’t seem to do much as they were given a key to our room to begin with… the most the the hotel staff could say to that incident was “I’m sorry”… but like, how sorry would you be if these “guests” had ill intentions and there would have been a traumatic experience to your family involving kids?? Needless to say, I don’t think we’ll be staying here again nor would I recommend to anyone.
