"We live in the same town as the hotel. We were there because our home got flooded during the tropical storm Helene so we weee familiar with the hotel. It is a terrific place in nice weather with the Tiki area along the water. The rain during our stay was very loud dripping off the roof. It kept us awake. The most unsettling thing was the double charge for our room. I prepaid when I booked. I don't ever remember having to tell the front desk clerk at any hotel that I was prepaid. This morning I told the clerk on duty. She said it would refunded once we checked out. "

"Lovely, clean, and comfortable. Friendly courteous staff and the bar that served pizza and wings was a great bonus. Breakfast was good, especially the coffee and they always had coffee available plus chocolate chip cookies. There is really nothing we didn’t like!"

"We had three great meal venues: Biked to Outlet on the Inlet for breakfast and Key lime Cafe for lunch and drove to South Beach Restaurant for dinner and beach front sunset. Sad we had to leave a day early due to Hurricane Helene- but the hotel said they’d credit our account. "

"Easy check-in and out. Very accommodating staff. Pleasantly surprised with hot breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage!"

"Had a great time. The only issue was when we went to the pool one afternoon and four "yacht couples" also came to the pool with their cooler of beer. They created a circle in the shallow end of the pool, chatting and drinking their beers. No issues with them but no room for us to get in and swim around unless we went into the deep end. We are senior citizens and have a hard time getting up and down the ladder in the deep end. We stayed for a short while and then left the pool."
