"Musholm Bugt Feriecenter had double booked, which meant they did not have a room for us when we arrived. They had sent us an email late in the afternoon telling us about the situation, which we had not seen upon arrival. In the email, which we only read later, Musholm took responsibility for the double booking, but when we talked to them they blamed it on hotels.com (which was not true). "Great reviews so booked at short notice, wish we hadn’t. The room was spacious but had a number of annoying or safety issues. First of all the blinds didnt go all the way down leaving bright sunlight streaming directly onto the bed. The bathroom was awful after a shower, just like a skating rink. "Lovely space, lovely place. Had some trouble finding it in the dark and were worried about missing check-in time (our fault for not having read the instructions carefully enough) but managed in the end. Unstable wifi but were prepared based on previous guest reviews. Excellent place to be if many want to plan a gathering. Would definitely stay there again. Thank-you!"

"Stunning setting for this castle on a moat. We were delighted with our large comfortable room in the castle up on the 2nd floor with a fabulous view across the grounds, gardens and moat. Dinner at the Michelin restaurant was beautifully presented and served, and breakfast was especially excellent and thoughtful.Staff were kind and helpful and always gracious. The gardens were delightful, even in the pouring rain. Wish we could have stayed longer."

"Stunning setting for this castle on a moat. We were delighted with our large comfortable room in the castle up on the 2nd floor with a fabulous view across the grounds, gardens and moat.
