"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "Lovely comfortable cottage with a fabulous view from the lounge balcony with afternoon and evening sun. No personal touch or welcome gift. Front yard full of weeds and plants blocking light into two snug windows. Would have been nice to use that space for a seat outside in the morning sunshine as the kitchen is perfectly placed through the front door. Locals lovely. Lots of pubs and shops. Great places to explore in the area."
