Nice cozy hotel located walking distance from the village, shopping mall, dinning area and the big bear lake. the room and bathroom needs some upgrades and repairs as the shower knob was kind of broken. The font desk people were very nice and courteous. Overall we liked the place. I give 4.5 stars.

Don’t be fooled like I was. The way this property presents itself online is a lie. I requested a quiet room a month before arriving but given one of the loudest rooms on the property and initially told at check-in we couldn’t switch rooms. Nobody slept all night long due to poor construction of the property as well as their policy to allow 24/7 use of the lobby, regardless of how loud or drunk the guests are who loudly shout in the middle of the night. Rooms don’t have any carpet or rugs so the ground floor can hear all the loud stomping above as well as chairs scraping across the very thin floors. Doors don’t have any chain locks so all it takes is a toddler pulling the door handle and it automatically disengages the deadbolt so they can run out of the property or fall down the stairs. The doors don’t fit the doorframe properly and you can see light coming in on 3 sides so this contributes to noise leakage. We barely had any hot water and had to take cold showers. The floors were not cleaned so our feet were black, the once white grout on the bathroom floor was also black. There are undisclosed cats living at this hotel and walking around the common area so beware if you have a cat allergy. There is also mold growing on the property (I have photos) which they try to fix with humidifiers but it’s not enough. Lipstick on a pig is what this property is. I will say the staff was nice but ultimately not able to do much. I was given a small partial refund for checking out early.

The hotel was a nice stay, but be aware they will nickle and dime you for everything. $60 pet fee. $56 resort fee, $17-$34 for breakfast per person. Not even the in room coffee is complimentary. Really feels like a bait and switch with the pricing. Anything positive I could say is overshadowed by the gross hidden fees.

Great staff. The room had a video game console that looked like it came out of the 80s with a ton of fun, retro games on it. There was also a record player and some records. Both gave the room a cool vibe. We will stay here again.

The property was close to the Village. Walkable if you wanted to. The property was clean. The room had bunk beds and an arcade game inside the room that was a major plus for a family of 6 with young kids. I’ll stay there again.

Nice enough property & room. The contactless service was off-putting and, as someone with a long customer service history, disappointing. Wish that had been featured more prominently on the rez site, but I will look more closely in the future and avoid those properties. Felt like I was staying in a ghost hotel at times, but that may be related to it being low season. Also, if texts are a primary feature to communicate with staff, a response shouldn’t take 3-4 hours.

I really enjoyed the staff. I enjoyed the pool, although the Jacuzzi doesn’t have jets that function. That was quite a bummer because I needed a little bit of a massage. Also, there was a cleanliness issue when I arrived in the room underneath a very nice little throw rug was a bunch of garbage that was swept under the rug That was a little disappointing if it was just me I wouldn’t have cared, but my wife was with me However, this did not affect our stay. I would definitely stay here again incredibly kind about it even offered to move me rooms as well as offer me anything I want from the snacks that are available for purchase in the rooms. I told him that is not necessary but fantastic service It really was wonderful and I was comfortable there. It was really quiet. It was what I needed. Again My honesty with these reviews is very important and no place is perfect. But again, this was a really comfortable little place. The indoor pool was so nice and the Jacuzzi was nice even without the Jets, but I would’ve loved to have the Jets. I would definitely recommend this place to others and the location is spectacular right in the village of Big Bear and the bowling alleys directly across the street and it was so quiet. It was wonderful.
