"An easy and great location. Brand new 'apartment hotel'. Had everything we needed apart from a full length mirror or mirror anywhere outside the bathroom mirror. Very nice to have our own apartment but with the comfort of 24 hour staff in the lobby and the possibility to store luggage before departure. Super convenient to the metro (across the street) and just a few stops from Gare du Nord. And a nice grocery (Monoprix) also across the street."

"We really enjoyed staying at the Castex, especially when they turned on the heat. Staff were fabulous except for 1 man who got extremely angry with me when I accidentally set off the fire alarm- the switch looked exactly like a light switch in the breakfast room and was not labeled! "Upgraded room was roomy and looked over Place de la Republique. Lots of dining and shopping options nearby. Very convenient location for public transportation and taxis/uber which made it easy to get around Paris. Rooms had coffee maker. Breakfast had great selections. All hotel staff were wonderful. They seemed to really like working there, worked as an efficient team and were happy. Would definitely stay here again."
