"A beautiful hotel set with old style quality! Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely big tub to have a soak and a good sized shower. We ate in dinner at Darleys restaurant which is superb. The breakfast was a little disappointing for such an up class hotel...apart from that we had a wonderful stay at Lilianfells!"

"A really convenient location in Katoomba. Walkable to numerous cafes and restaurants and really close to scenic world. Reception had just closed when we arrived, but we were sent very clear check in instructions. Luckily the receptionist was still on site and went above and beyond to assist all of the late comers. Clean and tidy with a rustic charm."

"It was lovely to finally have a stay in this beautiful heritage hotel. The rooms were modest in size. Very little room for suitcases. A hand rail for the shower over the spa bath would be helpful for limited mobility. The surface of the spa bath was a bit stained. There was no airconditioning which may be an issue in summer. No instructions for the wall mounted heater. The electric sockets for charging our phones were behind the bedside table near the floor which was difficult to access...

"The house itself was brilliant. You can feel the "oldness" in the air but i was surprised when i found out there was only the one staff member for the whole house. That's three floors with eleven rooms being attended to by one person and she was a pack packer who had been in the role for four weeks and is also receptionist and cleaner. But as i said, the house was lovely as was the area"
