"Pros: We have been here many years ago, and it’s still a great place for public outdoor hot springs for mixed gender. We went at night and there was nobody so we had the pools to ourselves! Private hot spring in the room is excellent with traditional stone construction. Excellent hot spring water temperature and soak. "Great location, walkable to the Thermal Valley, museum and town center with sufficient food options. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with in-room onsen and sauna (in some rooms). Hotel staff while not terrific are better than other hotels in Taiwan on this trip. Compared to a decade ago, Taiwan in general seems to have lost its edge in service-orientedness and making international visitors feel welcomed."
