"This is a respectable but ordinary hotel which is showing some signs of needing an update, but provides good lodging in an excellent location a short walk to Yale or Downtown. Oddly, the only comfortable chair in my room was positioned so that it received no light, while the desk chair was more like an uncomfortable refugee from a 1950's dining room set than a functional desk chair. "

"The rooms were nice and clean. Lots of people always standing right out front smoking. And the hallways and elevators smell strongly of smoke. The elevator always takes a long time to settle, as in you're at the floor you want, but it takes an extra minute to make little adjustments before the doors open. Very annoying. Was like that when I was here several months ago as well. I've actually never seen the second elevator work. "
