"Everything you need for a few nights stay. Walking distance to local shops, bars and the Abbey. Situated in tbe heart of 1066 country on the high street in Battle East Sussex. Only negitive, asked at the recepition about breakfast in the resurant, guy showed us a menu, asked him if he would recomended it he said NO they have only been doing breakfast a coupe of months and pointed us down the road onto the high street to bakery/cafe. "

"We had a very comfortable stay here, and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The space is very clean and roomy and we slept well. Communication was excellent and we would definitely stay here again."

"The hosts were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was extremely comfortable . I loved the large selection of books and the tasteful decorations. The bed had crisp white sheets. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of food. I would definitely recommend Anne's house as a great place to stay."

"The hosts - Karen & Malcolm were so hospitable & helpful. The Laindons Guest House is situated in an excellent location in Old Town, Hastings. The Red room was very comfortable, top quality bed linen and the facilities throughout the property are sublime with every attention to detail made. "I had a lovely spacious room and great en-suite shower room. It had everything you could want, fluffy towels and nice toiletries. A fridge with chilled water and fresh milk. Also a comfortable guest lounge with extra refreshments available. The staff were very friendly helpful and efficient. "

"Bathroom shower tiles could do with more attention to cleaning. Otherwise, pleasant stay and welcoming staff and owners. The room we stayed in was at the back of the property and and you could hear downstairs occupants early early AM which did disturb our sleep. However, the B&B was a pleasent stay Its located within a 20 min walk to the Old Town and central shopping areas. 5 mins walk from the pier. Local.corner shops too. "

"Great pub with unique rooms. Very welcoming staff and included breakfast was excellent with cooked options. We also ate in the restaurant and again the food was great. Lovely walk down to Bewl water from pub as well. Really enjoyed our stay."

"Wonderful greeting even though we were an hour early. Place is a quirky delight with lots of character and exceptionally welcoming. Louise was a charming host and nothing was too much try. Shower in our room had a fault but we were offered the use of another room and this was also spotless. Lovely breakfast. Views far reaching and quiet for a good night’s sleep. Highly recommended will definitely return. "

"We’ve used this hotel for about 17 yrs and it’s always been quiet, with attentive staff, and very clean. The only thing I would comment on for this stay is that there was a very strong electric air freshener on in the room when we arrived, which was not good for me as I have allergies. It was soon switched off and the window opened for proper fresh air!"
