"The room could of done with a bit of a make over some wall paper peeling off and house keeper tried to come in and clean the room before i even left on the morning of check out which check out was at 11am and hosue keeper came at 9am than felt a bit rushed to leave. "This is the second time I have stayed here while on business, the staff are so friendly, the room is nice and spacious and bathroom nice and clean. Location is great with a short walk to restaurants and cafes and also the large shopping centre and train station also a easy walk. My only suggestion would be a mini fridge in the room and also laundry facility would be a nice to have. The free parking is also very handy. I would definitely stay here again."

"Very convenient for our trip to the local hospital and very reasonable price including breakfast. A warm welcome at reception on check-in. Nice large room with comfortable big bed. You can open the windows to let in fresh air - not always possible these days at some hotels. We loved that it was over the pub/restaurant (a good menu plus specials and what we had was cooked really well) yet the pub couldn’t be heard from the room. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals etc and cooked options....

"I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "
