I love the koi pond. There is a table to sit above. Plus a waterfall.. the whole vibe is excellent. I wish that i didn't have to change hotels. Highly recommended!!

Great Base for Khao San
Happily returned here because of its central location, friendly staff and great pool/bar. Really Central to Khao San. Shops, Restaurants, Bars and stuff to do within walking distance.

Villa cha cha is a hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of near-by Khao Son road. It is tucked in between two streets, so when you enter you feel like you have escaped Bangkok, for the price, this place is very decent, the staff is awesome and super helpful, you can book any transportation in the hotel as well. The restaurant is very pleasant with a little waterfall feature and comfy seating. The pool is small but perfect. The rooms are clean enough, and felt very safe. 10/10 would stay here again!

Booked a nice room with a window and view out over the pool and was told it was a mistake and they tried to put me in an awful toom with no window and 1 lamp. Complained and was offered a room with a window looking onto a concrete wall that was 20cm away from the window. Complained again and asked for my money back and was told this wasnt allowed. Finally got a room with a proper window but was made to feel bad like they had really gone out of their way to sort it. It wasnt a particularly cheap hotel for the area, could have had the same type of room(the one with the window) for half the price or had a very fancy room elsewhere for another £10. It was a mistake and i wont be booking there again. Oh and definitely dont expect to get the welcome drink

Nice location. Pool is nice but a bit smelly. My issue was the lack of hospitality. Stayed 3 nights and didn’t get room cleaned once. Also not very accommodating on requests. The rooms are very dimly lit as well.

First of all, the location is excellent. Right by Khao San Road, but not on it, so you don't get the noise. Easy access to various sites. The pool and public areas are lovely. The restaurant is undergoing renovation, so not open, but they have made arrangements with another nearby hotel for breakfast. This renovation does make one of the entrances a bit messy, but that's temporary and superficial. Now, the rooms. I shared a room with my adult son-it was a deluxe twin, I think, and was fine. It overlooked the courtyard, and was clean and, while not spacious, adequate, since we literally only slept there. My daughter and her fiancee got a basic economy room, which was tiny, overlooked a concrete wall, and barely had room for the bed. They were a bit taken aback, but again, they were only there at night. The bathrooms were huge and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, considering the price, I would definitely stay here again. It had exactly what I need in a hotel-location, nice pool, good bed, good staff.

Tiny and dirty rooms with poor service
We decided to take the upgraded room and booked the superior twin room. I was shocked to see how small the room was. We had to remove the bed lamp and push the beds next to each other as we couldn't walk in the room. The room was very basic with poor light. We discovered why the bed lamp was placed there, as there was no other light in the room. The tiles were old and chipped. When we arrived we noticed the room was never swept as there was hair all over the floor when we walked on our socks. When we asked for the room to be cleaned, they only made up the beds, never mind the bathroom and no sweeping again. Maybe the room is to small to sweep? The receptionist wasn't helpful at all, unless we booked our cabs and tours through the hotel. When we wanted to change the time of the cab pickup with the reception and we were told to come back as we waited over an half an hour for the lady to return. They said no one else could assist us. The good thing was they allowed us to store our luggage on the last day of check-out and we could go shop. Overall not what I expected of a 3.5 star hotel.
