"I waited in line to be checked in all while watching 4 clerks help the guests in front of me. After waiting 15 minutes, a Caucasian man walks in the lobby and one of the front desk clerks steps over and helps him immediately!!! "We loved the place. The service, quiet location and cleanliness made it a great fit for our family. We also loved the breakfast. It’s a one-person operation so it gave us time to wake up and hang out with our family. If that’s not your taste, there’s also a few restaurants in the area. It’s a walk to the blue line but quite doable. We like to walk as much as possible but it’s also easy to order a taxi or car from the hotel too. We will definitely recommend this hotel! "

"We love Avani Riverside, but this time our bed wasn’t comfortable and was too soft and saggy. We both thought maybe it needed to be replaced. But, the room was quiet and the view is just spectacular. Extras are expensive at Avani, but service is excellent and we will always stay here."
