"Very comfortable stay with some minor issues which were promptly resolved by the management. Cafeteria lady made fresh scrambled eggs for breakfast. Short walk from the bus terminal is a huge plus. You can easily walk to the historical city center as well where a number of restaurants are located. Customer service is excellent. I would book without hesitation again if I am in Paraty."

"The public area is more wonderful and very well designed, the rooms were plain, not great. But the biggest problem is the service, the front desk lady was the worst. She said we had to pick a boat trip that day for the next day, and tried charge us over twice the price! She said she'd send the link, when she didn't we just walked over to the port after she gave us the wrong directions. Lovely and Charming!

"This was a charming choice for our friends trip to Paraty! The staff were friendly and helpful, with lots of suggestions for restaurants and activities. The common spaces were gorgeous and welcoming. The pool and sauna were lovely. Breakfast was healthy and fresh. The rooms were smaller but plenty of space for two girls and their luggage. The beds were slightly smaller than their American versions (we had two twin beds and they were narrow) but comfy and clean. AC worked great. We checked out at noon, but did not have our transfer picking us up until 4 PM and the hotel graciously let us continue to have access to the pool and the sauna which had showers so that we could be fresh for our flight."

"Beautifully decorated and kept inn right in Paraty's historic centre. Absolutely pristine in terms of cleanliness - I've never been in a hotel so clean. The staff of women are incredible - warm and kind and helpful. I don't speak Portuguese, except for the owner they don't much English, but they were so ready to help me and to provide recommendations. Great breakfast and again the lovely lady making breakfast wrote out the names of Brazilian foods I didn't know. The room was beautifully decorated in keeping with the feel of the historic building. The bed was very comfortable with lovely soft sheets, all the amenities you need. Loved the hammock on the balcony. There's a nice little swimming pool at the back to dip in on a hot day and a bar if you need refreshment. It's in a great location in the historic centre, easily walkable to everywhere you'd want to see in Paraty, but on quite a quiet street so it is nice and calm. Very close to the little port for boat trips and on the same street as the cultural centre and right next to the little theatre. Lots of cafes, shops and restaurants within minutes of walking. I would highly recommend staying here."
