"Our room was very spacious, the location was very good and facilities also very good. Perhaps the only downside was our inconsiderate neighbours using the shared bathroom next to our room very noisily at all hours of the night and very early morning. Stonehaven is a wonderful hidden little gem and the nearby Dunnottar Castle was spectacular!"

"The drive into this beautiful place is a bit bumpy, and you need a car/truck that is not too low or it could be tricky. The rooms were fantastic and accessed by stairs, which you need to know if you are travelling with anyone who has health considerations. The bathroom was perfect, and the hostess was AMAZING!!! The breakfast was lovely, nothing like fresh eggs from her own chickens. It was a lovely spot with a cute little hike to a private beach area. Very suitable for a recharge getaway. ...

"Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. "
