"It was a very pleasant stay and with parking just outside your room and all on the first floor -- it marries convenience with a Luxe version hotel like you were staying in a fancy Big Sur resort: the rooms have fire places, and balconies which look out onto a forested area behind the hotel. It is also very quiet even though it is relatively close to a highway. Staff are attentive and helpful. The location is an easy 15-minute walk up up Sunset Dr. to Main St. If you are there over the weekend...

"Beautiful clean property, lovely room, great indoor pool, excellent breakfast, easy walk to Main St. Our only complaint was noise; our room was right off the lobby with guests coming and going and usually stopping to chat, elevators, free coffee stand, staff having conversations at night and early morning. HVAC fan was noisy too, so that wasn’t a good option to create white noise. Next time I’ll make sure we get an upper floor or at the end of the hall."
