"Short stay at the end of our main holiday, clean , comfy beds , good location but hot water needed to be heated up over a few hours and there were minimal kitchen utensils , but basic enough to what we needed but no wine glasses , cheese grater things like that , nice size. very modern property , looks a lot of new from floors , bathroom to bedrooms etc "

The area is nice and quiet, with a few restaurants and distilleries, all within walking distance. "Friendly and welcoming staff. Unexpected room upgrade upon arrival which was wonderful. If you want charm in a beautiful Highlands locale along the whisky trail, this is it. Dinner was incredibly delicious in the hotel's dining room. Their chef is out of this world. Bar has every whisky known to man ... kidding of course, but they are well stocked and knowledgeable. We stayed one night and wished we had booked a longer visit. It was meant to be a stop on our way out of a two day drive through the Cairngorms National Park. It was a magical drive and this stay was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming, family-owned hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants right down the road. The hotel is run by a lovely older couple who made us feel very welcome, they were especially kind to our young daughter. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—hearty, homemade, and served in a traditional dining room that reminded me of grandma’s house. It added a comforting, nostalgic touch to the whole experience. If you’re looking for a place with character, warmth, and a great location, this is a perfect choice."
