The rooms were very nice, very clean, in a quiet area and only 10 minutes or so from central Chiang Mai by car. The only negative was having to go outside the hotel to smoke as there was no balcony, but that is a very minor inconvenience. "Used to be a luxury gem, now abandonned and secluded where you will be the only guest in a kind of ghosty atmosphere, however in a unique setting and in a clean and spacious well decorated suite with big balcony. The hotel is right opposite Dara Dhevi which is an experience to see and visit for dining out. The hotel staff are in fact staff at the popular (japan + chinese) restaurant that is run from the same location. You will be left on your own."

"Some things were closed off like the second pool close to the S lodge building. The room was great but had small issues that the staff took care of fast. Breakfast was good every morning except the last day when the self serve eggs were gone and we had to wait for eggs to be cooked. All in all I think it's a great property for a good price to."

"This property is a tucked away hidden gem. The rooms are lovely and spacious and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Nyein was a particular gem and was so helpful and kind. When we had an issue with our room, Nyein helped us changed the room with ease and it was effortless. The location is great with loads of amenities nearby.
