Worse was that as a service station hotel the main obvious problem would have to be traffic noise, so why weren't the rooms soundproof? Every lorry going past.... "Was a great get away. The facilities were new and well thought out. Had a hiccup on check-in as they didn’t have connectivity with Expedia. Originally had room 18 (?) and it was tiny and wonky. Upgraded to suite 22 and it was awesome! Huge difference but not much via rate. Definitely pay for upgrade. The AC in the room wasn't working very well but was still comfortable. Highly recommend!"

"Walked up from the train station. Beautiful location. Initially confused as to where lobby/ check-in is located because of so many Pousada Vila Obidos signs, but once we located the proper entrance, our experience could not have been better. Pedro is an excellent employee, giving us suggestions, answering questions, seeing us walking along the street and ensuring we were doing well later in the day. Walking along the top of the wall is so fun and you must try a ginja!"
