"The property location is incredibly convenient for all activities from sightseeing to dining to local transportation. Our room was a suite which was comfortable and clean, but not overly spacious. We did not eat any meals at the hotel restaurant, but had excellent espresso martinis for nightcaps on a couple evenings. The staff was fine-not overly friendly but cordial. We would stay here again mainly because of the location. "

"Wonderful stay in an amazing, historic area of Lisbon. Staff was also wonderful. One thing to be aware of though, is that the hotel is located in a street with limited access. So if you drive or take taxi/uber, you will have to walk a very steep cobblestone street. If you have lots of luggage, make arrangements with the hotel. They are very accommodating. "

There is a bad smell in all of the rooms that we visited and common areas for certain, as referenced in other reviews.
