"The staff and owner were wonderful. They do not have an elevator which I did not realize when we reserved the suite. My husband hurt his back just before we got there and the staff carried our bags up and down the 4 flights of stairs. Breakfast was great. They helped us get to the cruise terminal via the owner driving us. Very old and charming building in a convenient location. It was fun there."

"The room above us has a water leak and plaster started falling from the ceiling in our room. The plaster got in my hair and into my open luggage. I had to empty my entire bag to shake it out and try to get it off my clothes. The hotel staff did not offer to clean my clothes or even offer a discount on dinner or the room. The hotel was clean and the view from the room was amazing but just wished when I noticed them of the problem that they even came into the room to sweep up the mess. "

"Stayed here with another couple the evening before our cruise. Sandro, the owner, is absolutely awesome. He picked us up from the airport, got us settled in our rooms and then took us to the best restaurant in the area for our first fine Italian meal. The next morning he arranged our transportation to the cruise ship. This is not a hotel, it is a stand alone building that has been converted into several new rooms. Everything is new, modern and clean."
