Motukaraka Island and the Hauraki Gulg in Beachlands, Auckland, New Zealand.
This tree that was on the rocks at Snapper Rock at the end of Pohutakawa Road in Beachlands (about a 45 min drive from central AUCKLAND) had come down the cliff in a landslide. It’s landed upright and the tide has washed away the soil around the roots. This pic is a long exposure and was taken under a full moon. The location is tidal and only accessible 2 hours either side of low tide. #bvsblue #auckland #longexposure #moonlit
