"For a winter weekday escape Hard Rock is the place to be. It is hopping every night even with a snowstorm when the other properties nearby virtually close down. Felt very safe in all areas of hotel and staff attention was constant. Spa and pool are beautiful. One downside smoke smell in ventilation and no service in room. The online request service for this is not working. Need to request at front desk. Room service is great though. "

"Beautiful old hotel! Great ambiance! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was one thing that I found odd. The shower was open in the bedroom with only a glass brick half wall separating it from the rest of the bedroom, and it was U shaped and open to the rooms hallway to the bathroom and door. This keeps the air from warming up so it is always cool while showering."

"No frills, but definitely a clean room. No heat lamp in bathroom ( Had a regular bulb, even though timer on wall) . King bed was quite firm. Room itself was clean. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast closed at 9am, including Sunday. I overslept. Can't expect much better for $100 on a Saturday night in Atlantic City "
