"Positives were that is was very quaint, beautiful view from balcony, excellent bed, and excellent food. Negatives were bees in the room and narrow roads to get up the mountain. It is located in the mountains about 15 minutes from Lake Como."

"We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. From the ferry, we suggest you use mainly roads, rather than paths up the mountain if you have luggage. The walking paths have uneven steps and are quite quaint when just going for a stroll. We felt welcomed the moment we walked into this homelike hotel. "This was the best customer service I've ever had at a hotel; the female night manager helped arrange our parking, carried most of our suitcases, and even helped us buy bus tickets - at the bus stop! While there were a few details, like too much road noise and the tv not working (could care less), the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made it a very enjoyable stay. Would stay again in heartbeat."
