"A Pousada Aquino Mar é perfeita , excelente localizacao , local calmo e tranquilo, a poucos minutos do centro histórico de Paraty , pousada extremamente limpa , tudo novo e muito organizado , os proprietários cuidam pessoalmente dos detalhes e dos hóspedes, a Rose com sua simpatia sempre pronta pra nos ajudar e dar dicas de passeios , café da manhã excelente preparado com todo cuidado pela Lu ,muito atenciosa , quarto espaçoso e muito limpo e organizado , as toalhas sao trocadas diariamente ,...

"Very comfortable stay with some minor issues which were promptly resolved by the management. Cafeteria lady made fresh scrambled eggs for breakfast. Short walk from the bus terminal is a huge plus. You can easily walk to the historical city center as well where a number of restaurants are located. Customer service is excellent. I would book without hesitation again if I am in Paraty."

O café da manhã é pago por fora mas podemos pedir os itens do cardápio, eles fazem na hora, gostoso e com valor muito bom. Oferecem em cortesia café e um bolo delicioso. Penso que com medidas bem simples podem melhorar consideravelmente alguns confortos que fazem muito a diferença para o hóspede, como colocar uma prateleira no banheiro para os produtos de higiene e ducha higiênica. "We were travelling with our 16 year old son and had booked a room for 3 people. We had a spacious room with double bed plus single bed, TV (with digital channels), fridge, wardrobe and ensuite. The room was spacious and characterful and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Everything was clean and we had the room cleaned daily, including clean sheets, towels and toiletries replenishing. "The property was nice and spacious. Our room was next to the pool and kitchen where every day at 06.00 the staff would start chatting and shouting, which woke us up. Only three tables around the pool for breakfast, which were "reserved" so we had to eat in our room, which seemed pointless as there was plenty of space for more tables."

"Amazing place to stay when visiting Paraty. The apartments are extremely spacious and very well kept. Everything is clean and orderly. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The property is located on the outskirts of the main city but the historic city center is just a five mins car ride. Overall I highly recommend this hotel."

"Great place in the middle between Paraty and Angra. Modern and beatiful small hotel with great breakfast. Not much to do around if you don't have a car. But ocean is everything you can dream off."

"Our stay at Carpe Diem was awesome, the attention and service are top notch. I loved the space and calm atmosphere, it was my first time in Paraty and the location of the hotel is excellent! Thank you for the hospitality, next time in Paraty I’m staying with you again"

"The public area is more wonderful and very well designed, the rooms were plain, not great. But the biggest problem is the service, the front desk lady was the worst. She said we had to pick a boat trip that day for the next day, and tried charge us over twice the price! She said she'd send the link, when she didn't we just walked over to the port after she gave us the wrong directions. We selected a boat and when we got on she kept texting me in capitals on WhatsApp what boat we were on. When I asked why she said she was worried about us. No doubt it was for commission. I never told her. Then the next day when we left the hotel she sent us a picture of a shattered TV and sai we broke it. When I pointed out that the layout of the room was not the same of as as ours and that wasn't even our room, instead of apologizing she just didn't reply. Judging by this I really wonder about her stability if they fire her, I would reconsider this hotel despite the plain rooms. Terrible experience."
