"Great hotel about a 6 minute walk from Nagano train station. You can hear the trains from the rooms on the side of the hotel facing the tracks, but it is very muffled. Tiny rooms like all Japanese hotels in the affordable range. But very functional, great staff with decent (for Japan) English. My room had a killer massage chair, love the place just for that. Extremely clean, good neighborhood and a great value for the price range. "

"The hotel was in the best location. Very close to the train station, restaurants and shops. Everything you needed. Room was very clean and comfortable. Was good having the basin outside the bathroom. Shower was small and very steamy as no ventilation. Very convenient location to see snow monkeys and go skiing. On site Onsen was great."

"Nice location next to the arcade. You can definitely walk to zenkoji from here. Nice walk up the main road to the temple. Best thing is you also get the benifit of the shop in the arcade walk. Restaurant inside was nice. Hotel at first glance looks good. It inside the rooms look dated and carpets need to be replaced! The showers and amenities are very nice. It’s not old school but if you want modern this is a good alternative. I would stay here again. "

"Very convenient for the station. We arrived with a lot of luggage so was offered an upgrade to a larger room for £10 per night, which we took. Glad we did as room was still compact but did what we needed for two nights. We were able to send a couple of our bags onto the next hotel using Black Cat. The receptionist was very helpful in arranging this for us. "
