Breakfast was excellent - we especially appreciated the different local dishes featured each morning. As part of our VIP package, we got a wonderful afternoon tea service. A fun perk. We walked to the forbidden city, the market and back. It’s about a 20 to 30 minute walk. "

"So the rooms are big, but they only put twin beds if you want a double. Also they have indoor pool which is not heated, so it’s pretty cold. "Every staff member showed genuine care and concern for their guests. Incredible hospitality all around. Each time we returned from being out and about, it felt like we were coming home. There is construction happening in front of the property and it is truly a shame, but the staff and amenities more than made up for this. Food was also excellent.
