"So this is a great location, with decent restaurant and breakfast. Friendly staff, but sometimes service is slow. The room price can vary quite a bit as they can get busy. As with a lot of places I stay there are usually a lot of little things that could be improved. Water pressure in some rooms is poor, restaurant and menu is ok but not great. "The pool doesn’t have jets or a circulation filter and is full of insects. The nightclub is behind the resort on top the hill and you hear loud music at night. The walls are paper thin and you hear other guests and workers banging on metal. "

"Off the main street which makes the place very quiet. 5 min walk from the pier and to the beach. Lots of cafes and convenience stores round. The property looks much better in the photos - nowadays it's rather outdated with very shabby walls, a loud air-conditioner and a bit hard mattress. Though, the room itself is spacious. There are towels, bath products and a kettle with some coffee being provided. Overall good value for money. "

"The bungalows were big and clean, good bed and bathroom. The surroundings were beautiful The beach were amazing! Best sand ever seen! No stones or garbage. Plants of space, very few people. Turquoise beautiful water. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast. The gym was the least good thing - small, broken equipment, air conditioning sometimes not working. "

"Great service from the owner who did all he could to make our stay comfortable. T he room was great for a couple but not a family. The roll out bed was a mattress on the floor beside the bed. Shower wasn’t great (too close to the toilet) but worked well. "

"Rather clean hotel with good breakfast area. There are no actual place for your things in the rooms of main building: four hooks only and one shelf, you have to keep all you belongings in you bags on the floor. Mind, "inroom safe" means there are only one safe and it is in the private room of the only reception girl!!! By the way, she is quite often not at her place and you should walk about the territory to find her!!!"

Great little resort

"I have stayed at the resort the year before and enjoyed the hotel. We like the cottages because they are close to the beach. The music can be load especially when the fire show is on. We can usually sleep thru anything but it could be an issue for people looking for a quiet room. The music shuts off at 11 to 11:30 at night. The food was ok not spectacular. There are alot of good restaurants along the beach. The beach is a very nice white sand and the swimming was great. The entertainment was good. North american music mostly and they did have a great saxophone player that played throughout the day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close walk to the small town where other services and bike rentals are. If you want a quieter afternoon you can rent a bike and tour other beaches on the island They have been doing modernization and upkeep on the hotel. We would stay again "

"I cannot be more satisfied about my stay at Miss Hong House. The location is very convenient at walking distance to the high street and lovely Thai food places.Taxis and motorcycles at available at the House or within 10 min walks.I have been to beautiful several beaches in less than 30 min drive from the House which is very clean and silent. And not the least..A very warm and big appreciation to May who is running the house but also helping you in a Thai manner (it says it all) may you have any questions or doubts. Try her coffee too. Boyfriend is very kind and helpful too and the kind and friendly cleaning lady make sure that your room is always in a pristine condition.Thank you so much May for everything, Thank you very much to the 3 of us for making my first stay in the island a total success. Krapunkap!!!! Remy"
